Statement of Purpose
We believe that the purpose of our church is to follow the GREAT COMMISSION given by the Lord Jesus Christ as stated in Matthew 28:19-20.
"And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world."
We believe it is important to do the following:
1. As we are going into the community, present and represent the Good News of Jesus Christ to the people.
2. Baptism by emersion those who accept Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord.
3. As we are going, to Disciple and Nurture individuals to become obedient to Jesus Christ, with the promise of His presence.
AIM
As a congregation, we will seek to share the gospel and to minister to the people of our community. As a congregation, we will strive to nurture the fellowship through worship, love for one another and to encourage each others spiritual growth.
OUR OBJECTIVES:
OUR MINISTRY
Our Lord set the example through His response to all kinds of persons, in all kinds of situations. As His Body, now active in the world, we continue to do good works in His name.
OUR WITNESS
Every believer in the church is responsible for witnessing. Sharing the gospel is the joy of every church member in word and actions.
WORSHIP
The people of God are a local congregation; an assembled body. The purpose of this assembling is to hear God speak, to adore, to confess and to pray to the Father through the Son, to be filled with the Holy Spirit and receive love and adoration, to be in tune with the Holy Spirit and receive His direction. Worship is the foundation for life together in a church.
SPIRITUAL GROWTH
A vital part of a church's work is to help believers meet God through a study of His Word and through prayer with one another. Our responsibility as a church is to teach so that believers will experience joy, understanding and obedience in their knowledge of the Father and the work He wants His followers to do.
LOVE AND FELLOWSHIP
Fellowship sustains and supports Christian need as they endeavor to reach out in love.
Love seeks only to give God the glory. Love encourages, supports, strengthens and cares.
